This little restaurant is a real alternative. The dishes are vegan and delicious. It is also inexpensive. The staff is very friendly, dogs are welcome. Go there! 😃

Really great. Great alternative to the usual kebab etc. Tastes very good (especially the Mix Bowl), nice, relaxed atmosphere and service, large portions, and I think the price is reasonable for the good quality.

Delicious, cozy and central. A great opportunity for people who otherwise don't dare to eat vegan food, just to try it. The differences and options are explained in a friendly manner and everything is fresh. The hunger is satisfied at the latest by dessert and it was always delicious.

super delicious selection of falafels & great service that took all the time in the world to explain the variety to us shortly before the shop closed and spoiled us with a "I can't decide & would like to try everything bowl".

Very bland food. Spices are completely missing and unfortunately it also tastes "vegan", which shouldn't be the case with good vegan food. And it has absolutely nothing to do with authentic Arabic falafel, although that shouldn't be that surprising with "Roman". --- edit: Very interesting answer - the fact that the food is very bland was not accepted. I also don't understand exactly what is irrelevant about it .. the food is badly seasoned, and it is simply not authentic. It's not irrelevant, it's a FACT! Your food has nothing to do with falafel like you would find in Lebanon. The name "Achmed" does not exist in Arabic by the way - Ahmed, not Achmed, so much general education is to be assumed. I also wrote that it is unfortunately not surprising that your food is extremely bland, badly seasoned and has absolutely nothing to do with falafel. I would have been LOVELY to be surprised by the opposite and would have liked to have been positively surprised, contrary to my expectations, but unfortunately that was not the case .. obviously you are not so good at dealing with well-founded criticism. After all, I'm not the only person who has found the food very bland.

I love this shop. You can put everything together according to your own taste and thus have a lot of choice. Everything vegan, everything gluten-free, everything delicious. Keep it up❤

Best Falafel in Town!!

Order me a large bowl to take away more often. The price for the ingredients is fair and everything always tastes wonderfully fresh. I can't say too much about the service, as we only order take away, but I have the impression that the staff is very friendly.

I'm happy about a “partly” healthy alternative in the city - but - too much water in the salad. Sauces taste weak. Portions a bit small € 6.90 !! - More flavor in rice and lentils would be good. (I'm just being honest) Otherwise good. Shop is cool, dishes are beautiful ..

I'm just absolutely thrilled with Roman's. The atmosphere is great, it is very central in the Fressgass, the staff member was very friendly and the food is just so incredibly good! Everything freshly prepared with fresh ingredients, very nicely presented and served quickly. The bowls taste very fresh and the fries are super crispy. All questions are also answered in a friendly manner. Overall, a well-rounded affair and I will definitely go there very often in the future.

The service is quite good, very efficient and kind. The food is excellent, and the place offers you a great atmosphere.

Good vegan food

Delicious fresh falafel bowls. The brownies are great and contain no refined sugar Nice owner. Small but cozy.

Super tasty alternative to burgers, pizza & Co. Service and food were excellent, especially the cashew-based cheese sauce and chocolate mousse are recommended. The falafel could do with a touch of coriander or parsley. In terms of price, Roman positions itself at a very affordable level despite the high quality. We will be back!

Great food, very tasty. The young man explained everything very well. It's just a shame that he was alone, it just took a while. But it's definitely worth a visit.

The taste was rock solid, although the "spicy cheeky" sauce was neither spicy nor cheeky. A large portion for € 7.40 is far too small, so you save more on rice than with surprise champions in the Bundesliga. Staff very friendly, but nothing against the service from Annette from the Dille around the corner. A few more shovels (rice) have to be added, like when you want to have a chance against the locomotive in the university cup.

It's hard to find something healthy and tasty in the city quickly, I am very happy that our hunger has brought us here! The falafel are very tasty, I love all three different variations. And the sweet potatoes, honestly, the BEST in Mannheim! The staff are very friendly, always happy! <3

Very tasty bowls. You can determine yourself which ingredients come in and also mix different things. The classic falafel were awesome, the black bean ones didn't quite hit my taste. But will definitely come again.

Very attentive service, welcomed very nicely and also advised. Absolutely top price, vegan cheese is fermented in-house and there is a balanced selection of toppings, falafel and sauces. Fresh and well prepared, outdoor seating is coordinated with the interior and there is enough space, the hygiene concept is also implemented in an exemplary manner. Conclusion: positively surprised, as vegan is actually not mine;)

Super delicious food, makes you full but does not fatten you. Really a good alternative to burgers & co. great service and very nice waitress. Top!

Lunch break? It is not always easy to find something quick, tasty, inexpensive and healthy. When we passed Roman's, we got curious - so come in and try. The waitresses are super friendly and help the "newbies". And the food? Folks, it's worth it. We are now regulars - every Thursday. 5 stars from me

Best vegan salad bowls I've ever tried 👏👏

Food looks delicious, but the falafel could really use more flavor. Price / performance is still reasonably good. With more taste in the food you could really get points here. Ambience is actually quite nice. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful with the selection.

My mother and I discovered the shop by accident and took something with us. The owner is super warm and the food was extremely delicious. My mother, who, unlike me, is not a vegetarian and doesn't think much of vegan, was also enthusiastic: D

It was amazing! The place was nice and cozy, the food was delicious-I could choose exactly what I wanted (bowl system) and the atmosphere was really great. Everything was vegan. I would definitely recommend to everyone :))

Finally a Bowl Restaurant in the Quadrat!! + They are really friendly!! Vegan, healthy and tasty food. I loved the falafel there. The two size bowls are perfect to matched different stomachs and to reduce food waste for those who eat a bit less

Friendly staff and delicious food! I really liked the sweet potato fries and the organic sodas. Nice place! I'm sure I'll come around next time I'm in Mannheim. But be aware: there's no unhealthy stuff here, such as real coke ;)

Nice place for delicious bowls

I recently visited this place with one of my friends and his vegan dog 😀 All vegan restaurant, excellent food, everything whole food plant-based, cozy atmosphere and good value for the money 🤩 They do not use refined oils and everything is gluten free as well 🤗 It's run by one of the most popular vegan chefs in Germany, Björn Moschinski 💚👏 They have a great selection of bowls and you can choose the ingredients as per your own preference 👍 They also serve delish sides such as sweet potato fries and some sweet treats such as brownies 🤤 I couldn't be happier to have such a great option in the center of Mannheim 😍 Great job- way to go 👊
